Great Rivers United Way hosts Poverty Simulation events which uses a large number of volunteers. They will be hosting one for The Parenting Place and need volunteers to host a table. Volunteers will play a role in this simulation while hosting a table. The role will be to act as a community establishment like the grocery store. The participants in the simulation will come to your table - grocery store - to purchase their pretend goods and exchange money. Volunteers are needed to host various tables - community establishments. Specific instructions will be provided to all volunteers. Please respond to this need posting if you are interested. You will get to work with United Way on picking your role.
