The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide site in Onalaska needs a volunteer to supervise and organize our phone call team. This team sets appointments for tax return preparation from mid-January to late March. They also make reminder calls to taxpayers to remind them of their appointment and which documents they need to bring. As the volunteer coordinator, you work from home using your own laptop or desktop computer and your phone. Training is provided and you will have a mentor to help you through the process. If you enjoy working with people over the phone and want to help low to moderate income taxpayers get free tax return preparation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Training for this position will be in December and you will begin working with your team in January.
